PERMISSION TO USE

The use of the training venue is permitted upon completion of all of the following:

  • approval of the booking request
  • compliance of required documents
  • refundable bond payment of $200 per venue
  • full payment of the venue
  • submission of signed terms and conditions (this document)

You may be required to provide more information on the activity to be carried out in The College. It is the right of the Lessor to disapprove a request or to cancel a booked venue if any breaches of the contract is noted.

 

ROOM HIRE HOURS

Rooms are charged on a full day basis. A full day runs from 9am to 5pm. Evenings and Weekend hours are available by special arrangement.

 

ROOM HIRE FEES

  • Security deposit of $200 refundable at end of the agreement if no further costs arise, this will be based on property inspection.
  • Room hiring fee of:
    • Classroom 1 - $275 including GST
    • Classroom 2 - $275 including GST
    • Study area/shared office - $35 per person including GST
    • Boardroom - $220 including GST
    • Nursing Simulation Laboratory - $330 including GST      

Equipment can be used in the simlab, consumable items must be pre ordered 4 weeks prior or the Leasee is responsible for supplying their own consumables.

The Leasee must declare the total number of people expected during the event/activity.

Special arrangements can be made when access is required on the weekends and public holiday. Upon special arrangement during these days, the fees for each venue will be charged double. Shared offices are not available on weekends and public holidays.

 

CANCELLATIONS

All booking cancellations or changes must be confirmed in writing by email provided during booking.

Partial refund (80%) is available if the venue is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the date booked. Fifty percent (50%) refund is available for bookings cancelled at least 24 hours. No refund if cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking.

All cancellations made more than 48 hours incur an administration fee of $60.

If rescheduling is required (subject to availability), rather than cancellation, a $60 administration fee is required.

In the event that a suitable booking time cannot be reached cancellations terms apply.

It is the right of the Lessor to disapprove a request or to cancel a booked venue. If the cancellation is from the Lessor, a full refund will be made to the Leasee, unless a breach of contract from the Leasee.

 

INSURANCE

All users must be covered by Public & Products Liability Insurance prior to commencement of hire for no less than $10,000,000 each and every occurrence and in the aggregate.

Proof of insurance via a Certificate of Currency needs to be provided at the time of booking if asked.

If the Leasee does not have an insurance, or is not willing to take one, the Leasee bares all obligations related to any consequences of actions carried out during the activity at The College.

 

CATERING

The facility has a kitchen which is equipped with fridge, sink, kettle and microwave. Coffee, black tea, full cream and light milk, sugar and cups are available.

A vending machine with drinks and light snacks is on site.

Catering can be provided on request; extra charges apply please discuss with management if this service is required.

 

ACCESS TO BUILDING

College of Nursing Education and Training Australia is accessible between 9am-5pm. Weekend and public holidays may be available upon special arrangements.

 

SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited anywhere within the building.

 

DAMAGE

All damages must be reported to The College. Damages or broken equipment is deductable from security deposit of $200 including but not limited to:

  • Damage to the facility, furniture, fixtures, and fittings
  • $50/hour cleaning costs to cover a professional cleaner when the facility has been left in an unclean state or rubbish has not been removed.
  • $50 Electricity if lights were not turned off when exiting the facility 
  • Contractor cost of Steam Cleaning of carpets if deemed necessary

Where damage cost is more than $200, the Leasee will be contacted to arrange for payment of damage.

 

INDEMNITY

The Leasee agrees to indemnify College of NETA from and against all actions, costs, charges, expenses, and damages whatsoever which may be brought, or made, or claimed against them, arising out of, or in relation to the use of College of NETA premises.

 

ACTS AND REGULATIONS

The Leasee shall conform to Local Laws and other legislation as applicable. These include but are not limited to Health Act, OH&S Act, or any regulations made there under. The Leasee shall be liable for any breaches or non-compliance. All legal matters will be resolved in Wagga Wagga NSW.

 

EMERGENCIES

It is the responsibility of all Leasee to become familiar with College of NETA Emergency Evacuation Plan in case of fire or any evacuation procedures required. The facility displays site map and evacuation areas, and it is the Lease’s responsibility to ensure its members/users are safely evacuated and immediately contact The College in regards to evacuation and cause. In the event that an emergency occurs at the venue, it is the responsibility of the Leasee to contact 000 if applicable and inform The College immediately. COMPLETION OF USE OF VENUE

The Leasee is responsible for ensuring the venue is left in a clean and tidy state including all kitchen surfaces, appliances and equipment. 

  • All rubbish is to be placed in the bins provided These are in the kitchen and the classroom. Additional bin liners can be provided if required.
  • The Leasee will end all activities in time and will do tidying/cleaning to be carried out and within hire times. All rooms must be closed and lights/heaters turned off.
  • All equipment (tables/chairs, etc.) must be returned to their original position in the classroom.
  • All personal effects, equipment brought into during the hire shall be removed at the completion of use of the venue.
  • Ensure all doors and windows are secured. All areas are vacuum cleaned, and rubbish disposed of in the bins in the ground level of the building. $50/hour cleaning fee applies if premises left uncleaned
